The Heart Behind Every Bar
At Pagnotta Family Farm, our Nigerian Dwarf goats aren't simply part of the farm—they are family. Our herd has grown to more than 30 goats, each with a personality, a story, and a special place here on the farm.
Our journey began with goats who quickly taught us that life on a farm is filled with personalities, adventures, and more than a few surprises.
Meet Casey
Casey has always been our fearless adventurer. She came to us at just three months old and quickly decided there was very little on the farm that wasn't worth exploring. Horse pastures, tractors, the Kubota, alfalfa blocks—even the rocking chair—have all been part of Casey's adventures.
Her curiosity and confidence have made her one of the unforgettable personalities of Pagnotta Family Farm.
Meet Cookie
Cookie grew up alongside Casey and remains one of her closest companions. Gentle and calm, Cookie brings a very different personality to the farm. She is also our only kid with horns, making her especially easy to recognize among the herd.
Meet Lady
Lady arrived with Casey while caring for her young kid, Cookie. A wonderful and patient mother, Lady has a particular appreciation for treats and has always brought a steady presence to the herd.
Meet Skittles
Skittles is Casey's mother and one of the sweetest members of our farm family. With her beautiful soft blue eyes and calm nature, she has an extraordinary way of connecting with people.
Stand quietly near Skittles and she may simply walk over and look at you, almost as though she is welcoming you to the farm. She especially enjoys having the underside of her chin scratched, but she never demands attention. She waits patiently and allows people to approach her at their own pace.
From Our Goats to Your Home
These are only a few members of the Pagnotta Family Farm herd. Caring for our goats is where our work begins long before a bar of soap reaches your home.
Their fresh goat milk becomes the foundation for the handcrafted soaps we make in small batches right here on our family farm.
Every beautiful bar really does begin with an amazing goat.
